Week 2

First of all, thanks to Alice for a great presentation on a book she read over Xmas.

In this class we looked at lesson 24, being introduced to someone and reviewed talking about likes/dislikes / what people are good at/ not so good at.

Then we talked a bit about Japanese homes and "homestay". I will put the PPT presentation of the rooms in the house on blackboard and a list of words. (In the Vocabulary building folder)
We also used the phrase "+te wa ikemasen" meaning "must not" to talk about what you mustn't do in a Japanese home. For example

kutsu o haite wa ikemasen.
ofuro no naka de karada o aratte wa ikemasen.

We will continue the topic of "homestay" next week.
